Olivia Delauré was born in Stuttgart. She developed an early interest in music and was trained in singing, dancing and acting. Olivia Delauré then graduated with distinction from the Bavarian Theaterakademie August Everding in 2011. She was a finalist in the M.U.T. (first Austrian competition for musical entertainment theatre) at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt and was a prize-winner (Special Prize of the Walter Kaminsky Foundation in 2009; 2nd prize and special prize for the best performance of a musical scene in 2011) in the Bundeswettbewerb Gesang Berlin at the Friedrichstadtpalast in Berlin. She also received the Sponsorship Award for young artists (awarded in 2012 by the Förderforum of the Staatsoperette Dresden), and the Dr.-Otto-Kasten Prize 2014 for up-and-coming performers.
In 2010 and 2013 she appeared on stage as a soloist with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Prof. Ulf Schirmer, performing concert programmes by Paul Abraham and Leo Fall. From 2010-2019 Olivia Delauré belonged to the permanent ensemble of the Staatsoperette Dresden and subsequently worked as a freelance singer. Guest contracts have led Ms Delauré to the Volksoper Wien, the Chemnitz Opera and the Halle Opera, among others. Her roles have included Eliza Doolittle (»My Fair Lady«), Eva Perón (»Evita«), Adele (»Die Fledermaus«), Cinderella (»Cinderella«), Kate (»Kiss Me, Kate«), Papagena (»The Magic Flute«), Hannchen (»The Cousin from Nowhere«), Ernestine (»Salon Pitzelberger«), Dorothy (»The Wizard of Oz«), Polly Peachum (»The Threepenny Opera«).
Since 2021 Olivia Delauré is also the singer of the Dresden band »Youkali«.
