The German-speaking Opera Conference (DOK) is an association of 13 opera houses in German-speaking countries and 3 associated member theatres in London, Milan and Paris. The DOK meets twice a year to discuss current issues and challenges. Its aim is to strengthen and further develop the opera business throughout the German-speaking world and beyond. Furthermore, the member theatres of the DOK are committed to the preservation and future viability of opera as an art form and an integral part of the indispensable values of European culture.
DOK stands for co-operation, transparency and sustainable development - in the opera business and in society.
The German Stage Association is the interest and employers' association of theatres and orchestras. It addresses all artistic, organisational and cultural policy issues that affect theatres and orchestras in any way. These include topics such as the importance of theatres and orchestras for cities, the development of audiences and the shaping of legal frameworks through to the social situation of artists.
Opera Europa is the leading service organisation for professional opera companies and opera festivals throughout Europe. There are currently over 233 members from 44 countries.
The BBTK is a voluntary association of ballet and dance theatre directors for the purpose of mutual information and cooperation. The first BBTK took place in Cologne in 1998 on the initiative of Marc Jonkers and at the invitation of the NRW Landesbüro Tanz.
»FEDORA - The European Circle of Philanthropists of Opera and Ballet« ist eine gemeinnützige Vereinigung, die sich der Unterstützung und dem Beitrag zur Zukunft von Oper und Tanz in Europa verschrieben hat. Der Verein wurde 2013 in Paris unter dem Vorsitz von Jérôme-François Zieseniss zu Ehren von Rolf Liebermann gegründet. Das Hauptziel von FEDORA ist es, aufstrebende Künstler zu ermutigen, die Genres zu erneuern und so den Zugang zu Oper und Tanz zu erleichtern und gleichzeitig die Entstehung neuer Geschäftsmodelle zu fördern.
In 2001, Leipzig entrepreneurs founded Together for Leipzig. Since then, the association has grown to over 130 members. They include individual entrepreneurs as well as internationally active companies. The members are united by their love of Leipzig and the region, which has long since become home to the entrepreneurs who have moved here.
The Business Council for Democracy (BC4D) is a network of the non-profit Hertie Foundation, the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) and the Robert Bosch Stiftung that brings together employers who are committed to protecting and strengthening democracy in the digital age.
