Biography
Michaela Bär, a native of the Ore Mountains, appeared on stage in numerous productions even while she was still training to become a musical theater performer, including as Héloise in »Ritter Blaubart« at the Theater Plauen-Zwickau and as Anne Brontë in »Schwestern im Geiste« at the Mainzer Kammerspiele. Following her training, she landed her first leading role in a musical production as Iris in »When Rose Petals Fall« at the KATiELLi Theater. Michaela Bär also appeared as Lea Zitronenbaum in »Next Door« (Mainzer Kammerspiele), in KATiELLi’s »Christmas«, and as a soloist in »Time to Love« (KATiELLi Theater). She then played Agnes in »Abba Klaro« at the Komödie Bielefeld. Since 2024, she has been touring regularly as a soloist with »Die Nacht des Musicals« throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. She made her debut at the Mittelsächsisches Theater in Freiberg in the role of Lucy Westenra in »Dracula«. In 2026, she returned to Freiberg as Constance in »The Three Musketeers« and made her debut at the Felsenbühne Staatz in the summer of 2026 as Louise in »Ghost«.
At the Musikalische Komödie, she makes her debut as Ellen/Estiha in »The Hare with Amber Eyes«.
