Biography
Elisabeth Vogetseder lives and works in Vienna. She studied stage design at the Mozarteum Salzburg and at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. She has been working as a freelance stage and costume designer for theater and opera since 2010. Her collaboration with the directors Rahel Thiel, Bettina Brunier, Elena Tzavara, Johanna Wehner and Lydia Steier has taken her to the Stuttgart State Opera, the Salzburg Festival, the Tiroler Landestheater, the Saarländisches Staatstheater, the Hanover State Opera, the Basel Theater, the Wiener Festwochen, the Freiburg Theater and now, for the first time, the Leipzig Opera.
