Employees who are employed according to NV Bühne or TVK benefit from a specially developed remuneration system that values artistic expertise and contribution to the musical performance. The system takes into account both the individual employee's wealth of experience and qualifications and encourages personal development. As part of this pay system, Oper Leipzig was the first German theatre to win the German Equal Pay Award in 2024.
For choristers and orchestral musicians, Oper Leipzig offers fair and transparent remuneration in accordance with the NV Bühne collective agreement and the TVK. Performance and commitment are honoured within a fair and appropriate framework.
In addition, the salary is supplemented by an annual special payment of 72%. 72%, which is paid in June (2/3) and November (1/3).
Loyalty and long service to Oper Leipzig pays off. We honour our employees for many years of service with a one-off special payment. This token of appreciation emphasises the importance of consistency and commitment to Oper Leipzig.
