In 2023, the Leipzig Ballet once again invites dance creators and dance enthusiasts to experience the fascination of dance in the foyers of the opera house. The unesco established the World Dance Day in 1982 to recognize dance as a universal language that transcends the boundaries of politics, cultures and ethnic affiliations. As the highlight of World Dance Day 2023 a guest performance of the Palucca Hochschule für Tanz is planned.
