We are surrounded by clichés, whether we work off them, use them, laugh at them or question them. In the next issue, as part of the Jewish year “Tacheles”, we will be investigating which clichés about Jewish culture can be found in operettas and musicals.

Clichés are often hidden within the criticism we receive from the press or our audience. What are the objections? How, for example, should we deal with body shaming, criticism of our programme selection, or criticism of modern stage design? We will be exploring these topics in the next edition of »Achtung! Achtung! Klischee«.
