Biography
Born in Plauen/Vogtland. First musical training at the Vogtland Conservatory. Winner of several GDR competitions and honoured with the small Schumann Prize of the city of Zwickau. 1990 to 1996 studied piano with Prof. Sahling at the Leipzig University of Music, also studying organ, choral conducting and accompaniment. 1999 concert exam in piano as her main subject. Regular assistant in the singing classes of KS Prof. Jitka Kovariková and Prof. Helga Forner. Coaching for several university productions, including »Così fan tutte«, directed by Prof. Joachim Herz. Musical director of the university production »Das Tierhäuschen«, a play for children. 2002 Concert exam in vocal accompaniment and song composition. From 2002 teaching position at the Leipzig University of Music and Theatre in accompaniment/dramatic teaching.
Since the 2003/04 season solo repetiteur at the Musikalische Komödie, since 2009 head of studies and still solo repetiteur at the Musikalische Komödie. Musical director of productions including »Rocky Horror Show« und »Sekretärinnen«.
