Biography

Was born in Hannover. She completed her vocal studies at the local Academy of Music and Theater. She is a scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Verband and was named winner of several international competitions. From 2002 – 06 she was an ensemble member of the Staatstheater Wiesbaden. In the 2006/07 season she appeared at the Staatstheater Schwerin as Mme. de Croissy in Dialogues of the Carmelites. She is currently freelance and makes regular guest appearances at the opera houses of Hanover, Darmstadt, Schwerin, Hagen, and Aachen. She also maintains an active recital and concert schedule. She became a member of the ensemble of the Oper Leipzig with the 2017/18 season, where she appeared as the third lady in The Magic Flute, Hänsel Hänsel und Gretel, Floßhilde in Das Rheingold and Götterdämmerung, Schwertleite in Die Walküre, an das a woodsprite in Rusalka. New roles this season include the first maid in Elektra and Annina in Der Rosenkavalier.
