Mezzo-soprano in the ensemble of the Oper Leipzig since 2022/23

HOMETOWN - Landau in the Palatinate

EDUCATION - Bachelor studies with Prof. Daniela Sindram at the HfM Würzburg, Master studies with Prof. Carola Guber at the HMT Leipzig, currently student of Prof. Carola Guber's master class

IMPORTANT CONDUCTORS - Philippe Herreweghe, Frieder Bernius, Florian Helgath, Jochen Rieder

GUEST ROLES - Göttingen International Handel Festival, Chemnitz Opera, Rudolstadt Theatre, Hamburg Laeiszhalle

FURTHER ENGAGEMENTS - as a concert singer in America, Canada, Switzerland and Israel and in works such as Bach's "St. Matthew Passion" and "St. John Passion", the "Christmas Oratorio", Handel's "Messiah", Mendelssohn's "Elijah", Mahler's "2nd Symphony" and Verdi's "Requiem".

HONORS / AWARDS - Promotion Prize of the International Saxon Singers Academy Torgau 2015, Winner of the International Bach Competition CantateBach Greifswald 2017.

CD - "Schubertiade" with songs by Brahms, Schubert and Schumann together with Gerold Huber; "Seelenübervoll" with songs by Alexander von Zemlinsky (Genuin, 2023).

Favourite place in Leipzig and why?
Gottschedstraße - Delicious restaurants non-stop, in between the impressive monument of the synagogue, directly behind it the Thomaskirche.

Favourite moment on the evening of a performance?
The walk to the very first performance: rehearsed, with make-up, costume, motivation and lots of adrenaline! The moment when all the course is set for it to be a great evening.
