Biography
Nils Svenja Thomas was born in 2000 and grew up in Frankfurt am Main. It was there that they gained their first acting and musical theatre experience. In 2023, Nils Svenja Thomas graduated with distinction from the Anton Bruckner University in Linz with a degree in acting. Whilst studying, they performed in various productions at the Landestheater Linz and the Tiroler Landestheater. During the 2023/24 season, they were a permanent member of the company at the Landestheater Coburg, where they appeared, for example, as Werther in »The Sorrows of Young Werther« and as Riff Raff in »The Rocky Horror Show«. Further engagements took Nils Svenja Thomas to the Saarländisches Staatstheater. They have worked with, amongst others, Jana Vetten, Stephanie Mohr, Peter Wittenberg and Anna Marboe. Nils Svenja Thomas has been living in Berlin since 2025, where they work as a freelance actor, musician and voice actor. This season, they can be seen, amongst other roles, in »Späti Paradies« at the Vagantenbühne Berlin.
At the Musikalische Komödie, Nils Svenja Thomas will first appear in 2027 as Michael in »tick, tick… BOOM!«.
