Biography
Lucia Reichard, born in Freiburg in 1987, began directing and writing her own plays towards the end of her acting studies, which were performed at the Wintersteintheater Annaberg-Buchholz, among others. She has worked as a director, choreographer and actress throughout Germany and beyond, including at the Saarländisches Staatstheater, the Deutsches Theater Göttingen, the Wintersteintheater Annaberg-Buchholz, the Greifenstein Festival, the Wallgrabentheater Freiburg and with Nature Theater of Oklahoma New York. She was awarded the LAMATHEA Baden-Württemberg state prize for outstanding productions for »The Little Prince« at Naturtheater Hayingen; her production of »Dear Parents« (A./E. Patron) at the Festival Primeurs at Saarländisches Staatstheater won the audience prize.
She will make her directorial debut at the Musikalische Komödie in 2024 with »Ein wenig Farbe«.
