Illia Bukharov

Biography

Born in Kyiv, Ukraine. Ballet training at the Academy in Kyiv and at the Heinz Bosl Foundation in Munich. Two decades of experience as a professional dancer with numerous performances worldwide – from Spain to Colombia and from Brazil to Italy and China. His choreographies combine tap dance and expressive dance. As a soloist with the Leipziger Ballett, he performed numerous leading roles. His particular fascination is improvisation, allowing body and soul to unfold freely.
