Your admission tickets are valid both three hours before and three hours after the performance for all forms of public transport (buses, trams, S-Bahn and local trains) of the Mit­tel­deutsche Verkehrs­verbund (MDV) in zone 110. The discount applies if indicated and printed on your admission ticket.

Visitors using the underground parking lot on Augustusplatz can access the opera house directly from the parking garage.

Dear visitors of the Oper Leipzig,  
despite elaborate and thorough discussions with the operator of the public underground parking garage Augustusplatz, Q-Park, we were unable to come to a mutual agreement and find a suitable solution for visitors to receive a discounted parking ticket.
Therefore, our current offer ends on July 31st, 2019 and regular parking fees apply starting August 1st, 2019, even on days of our events. Further information can be found on www.q-park.de.
The option of using public transportation before and after events of the Oper Leipzig will remain available to our guests.

Tips for visitors travelling to Leipzig by car: since March 1st 2011, Leipzig’s inner city has been a low emission zone only accessible to vehicles displaying a green sticker. The start of the low emission zone is clearly signposted. Please use the Park & Ride car parks outside the low emission zone. The opera ticket is also valid as a ticket for the Leipzig Transport Company (LVB) in zone 110. Your admission tickets and seat reservations are valid both three hours before and three hours after the performance on all forms of public transport (buses, trams, S-Bahn and local trains).
