Your admission tickets and seat reservations are valid both three hours before and three hours after the performance on all forms of public transport (buses, trams, suburban trains (S-Bahn) and local trains) of the Central German Transport Association (MDV) in zone 110 which covers the urban area of Leipzig.

  • Underground car park at Augustusplatz

Dear visitors of the Oper Leipzig,

despite elaborate and thorough discussions with the operator of the public underground parking garage Augustusplatz, Q-Park, we were unable to come to a mutual agreement and find a suitable solution for visitors to receive a discounted parking ticket.

Therefore, our current offer ends on July 31st, 2019 and regular parking fees apply starting August 1st, 2019, even on days of our events. Further information can be found on www.q-park.de.

The option of using public transportation before and after events of the Oper Leipzig will remain available to our guests.

  • Parking at the Westbad (Musikalische Komödie)

Please note, there are limited parking options around Lindenauer Markt. We suggest arriving via public transportation or by using Park & Ride parking. Please plan your arrival time accordingly.

  • Service

In the Opera House and in the Musical Comedy Theatre we provide booster seats for children at every performance. We would also be happy to book a taxi for you at the end of the performance. Please speak to our front of house staff.
