All subscriptions are defined in the respective annual magazine of the Oper Leipzig and in the subscription brochure. The subscription conditions and their validity supplement the General Terms and Conditions of the Oper Leipzig 

You can complete your subscription for each season using the order form or through the regular sales channels of the Oper Leipzig. After receipt of payment, your subscription is valid until July 31st of the following year, i.e. until the end of the respective season. There is no tacit renewal of your subscription. Your subscription will be automatically terminated on August 1st of the relevant season. Termination on your part is possible with a month's notice before the end of the corresponding season by means of a written declaration. If you would like to continue your subscription in the following season, we ask you to take out a new subscription. Changing subscriptions and/or swapping seats is only possible by taking out a new subscription.

Your subscription may be transferred to third parties for individual performances. The payment obligation remains unaffected. The commercial resale of your subscription tickets is not permitted.

Subscription cards are generally excluded from return. Artistic and organizational changes to the program do not justify the return of subscription tickets. If you miss a performance, neither a refund nor the right to attend an alternative performance date comes into effect. If you, as a subscriber, are unable to attend a planned performance, you have the option of exchanging your tickets up to 3 days before the start of the performance. An exchange is only permitted within one season and into the same production and is subject to an exchange fee of €5 per ticket. It is not possible to exchange the admission tickets for a voucher.

Please note that if you switch to a lower seat group, no difference will be paid out. If you switch to a higher seat group, you have to pay the difference.

If the performance you have booked cannot take place, we will inform you immediately and, if possible, you will be given an alternative date. If subscription seats have to be blocked due to staging or a pandemic, you will receive tickets for replacement seats in the same seat group, if available.

Upon presentation of a valid identity card, replacement tickets will be issued for lost tickets. Please note that the original card always has priority over the replacement card.

Your subscription tickets for the combined subscription are only valid for the season in question and expire if they have not been redeemed by the last subscription performance. There is no entitlement to an extension of the period of validity.

The subscription price is to be paid according to the term of payment. You can pay the amount personally in the subscription office by EC card or credit card or by cash within the payment period during subscription opening hours. Alternatively, a confirmation of the offer including a payment request and a payment link with forwarding to the payment in our web shop will be sent to you by e-mail. Payment by bank transfer is also possible. After receipt of payment, your admission tickets will be sent to you by post or e-mail or handed over personally.

You are welcome to purchase one additional ticket per performance and subscription for the performances you have attended for friends, family or acquaintances with a discount of 10% on the applicable normal price. For the season in question, you will receive a 20% discount on the normal price for one ticket per subscription for all repertoire performances (except premieres and guest performances as well as performances with special prices) outside of your subscription.

The Oper Leipzig reserves the right to make changes to the subscription conditions. Corresponding changes will be communicated to you in good time.

By taking out or continuing the subscription, you accept the above conditions.
