You can make reservations for the entire season well in advance.
The one-off handling fee for these transactions is €15.00 per reservation for a minimum of five tickets. We reserve the right to request down payments.

The reservation time for ordered tickets is 10 days starting from the reservation date. After this period the reservation expires.
European guidelines are changing to make online card payments even safer. For orders placed after January 1st, 2021, you will be asked to verify yourself through 3D Secure. This will be marked depending on the type of card you use (e.g. Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check or American Express SafeKey).
What should I do?
If you have not already done so, you should activate your card for 3D Secure. Most banks offer this service online. You can find this out on your bank's website.
If you have already registered for 3D Secure or used the function before, you do not have to register again. However, your bank could set up a new payment process to improve usage. Some banks have designed a new smartphone app specifically for this purpose. Please contact your bank for more information.
To ensure that you can easily and securely pay for your next order, we recommend that you activate 3D Secure before your next online order.
The following discounts are available for performances in the large halls of the Opera House and the Musikalische Komödie:
Families with up to four adults and at least one child pay a standard price on family days at Oper Leipzig. Opera House: 19 € / Musikalische Kömodie 17 € for adults and 13 € for children up to the age of 16.
These are determined by the organiser and normally include a booking fee.

Your personalised Oper Leipzig Card is valid for Oper Leipzig's own events in the main auditorium of the Opera House and the Musikalische Komödie for one season (except for premieres, guest performances, events with special prices, in the last seating groups and on 25./ 26. and 31. Dec 2026).
With the Oper Leipzig Card, you receive a 20% discount on up to two tickets per performance.
With the »KlassikMatch Card«, Oper Leipzig and the Gewandhaus zu Leipzig are offering a joint initiative for everyone under 30.
With the card,children and young adults can purchase tickets for opera, ballet, operetta, musicals and concerts at a special price of just €10 at the box office and €15 in advance, up to two months before the event date. The KlassikMatch Card costs €20 once and is valid for the entire season.
The Leipzig Card (Tourism card) grants you a 10% discount for approved performances at the Oper Leipzig in the Opera House and in the Musikalische Komödie.
As an owner of the Happy Dinner Card PREMIUM you will receive 2 tickets in the price category II for the price of 95 €. The offer is valid for performances of the Opera and the Leipzig Ballet from Tuesday to Thursday as well as on Sundays except for premieres, guest performances, Christmas, New Year's Eve and events with special prices.
