Vincent Wolfsteiner

Biografie

Was born in Munich. He studies at the New England Conservatory in Boston. He debuted as Rodolfo (»La bohème«) at the Granite State Opera in New Hampshire. He has been a member of the ensembles of the Volkstheater Rostock, the Staatstheater Nürnberg, and the Oper Frankfurt. His repertoire includes roles such as Siegfried, Siegmund, and Loge (»Der Ring des Nibelungen«), Herodes (»Salome«), Bacchus (»Ariadne auf Naxos«), Aegisth (»Elektra«), Florestan (»Fidelio«), Hüon (»Oberon«), Drum Major (»Wozzeck«), Filka Morozov (»Aus einem Totenhaus«), Offizier (»Cardillac«), Calaf (»Turandot«), Maurizio (»Adriana Lecouvreur«) and the title roles in »Lohengrin«, »Peter Grimes«, and »Otello« He has bowed at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, Wiener Staatsoper, Bayerische Staatsoper, Theater an der Wien, Staatsoper Hannover, Komische Oper Berlin, Anhaltisches Staatstheater Dessau, Theater Gera/Altenburg, Theater Freiburg, Staatstheater Darmstadt, Oldenburgisches Staatstheater, as well as at the Bayreuth Festspiele, the Opernfestspiele Heidenheim and in the USA. He will appear at the Oper Leipzig in the 2021/22 season as Erik in »Der fliegende Holländer«.
