Marek Reichert


Was born in Berlin. He studied voice at the Hochschule für Musik in Dresden, and completed further studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig. Before completing his formal education, he was a guest at the Landestheater Coburg, and from 2006–10 was a member of the ensemble there. His roles there included Count Almaviva in »Le nozze di Figaro«, Donner in »Das Rheingold«, Peter Besenbinder in »Hänsel und Gretel«. He has bowed at the Staatstheater Nürnberg, the Saarländisches Staatstheater Saarbrücken, at the Landestheater Linz, at the theaters in Aachen, Regensburg, Koblenz, and at the Opernfestspiele Heidenheim. He made his Bayreuther Festspiele debut in 2019 as the Third Brabantian Noble in »Lohengrin« under the baton of Christian Thielemann and as Fritz Kothner in »Die Meistersinger für Kinder«. In the 2021/22 he bows as Masetto in »Don Giovanni« and Surin in »Pique Dame« at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden. The same season brings him to 2021/22 an der Oper Leipzig as Konrad Nachtigall in »Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg« and Henrik in »Maskarade«.
