Katherine Broderick


Studied singing at the National Opera Studio London and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She was awarded the Guildhall Gold Medal and the Kathleen Ferrier Award. She spent a year in Leipzig, studying at the University of Music and Theater „Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.“ She was a participant in the ENO Harewood Artist Program and works with Anthony Roden. She has performed at the Opera North, the Welsh National Opera, the Hallé Orchestra, the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, the Opéra National de Lorraine, the English National Opera, Glyndebourne on Tour, and the London Symphony Orchestra. She is a frequent concert performer and has been a member of the Staatstheater Karlsruhe ensemble since 2016, appearing as Sieglinde (Die Walküre), Adriana (Adriana Lecouvreur) and Vitellia (La clemenza di Tito). In the 2018/19 season as Brünnhilde in the Oper Leipzig‘s production of Siegfried, 2020/21 Brünnhilde in Die Walküre.
