Fabrice Kebour


Has been lighting designer for over 150 productions worldwide for dance, drama, musical, and opera productions. He has worked at all of the important opera houses in the world, including the Volksoper and Staatsoper in Vienna, the Théâtre de la Monnaie, Welsh National Opera, the Kennedy Center in Washington, the Arena di Verona, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Spoleto Festival, the Parma Festival, the Opernhaus Köln, the Opéra Comique Paris, Les Chorégies d’ Orange, Opera North, the Opéra de Lausanne, the Opéra national du Rhin, and the Opéra national de Lorraine. He was lighting designer for »Hamlet« (director: Terry Hands) at the Théâtre Marigny, for the world premiere of »Clara« (director: Günter Krämer) at the Opéra comique Paris, and for »The Stillborn Lover« and »The Shadow of Greatness« with Richard Chamberlain in the principal role at the Berkshire Festival in New York. He was nominated in 2005 and 2009 for the Molière theater prize in the category »Best Lighting Design«. He appears at the Oper Leipzig in the 2021/22 season as lighting designer for »Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg«.
