Introduction 45 min. before showtime; audience discussions afterwards
Ballet evening in two parts by Mario Schröder | Music by Udo Zimmermann, Johann Sebastian Bach and Henryk Mikołaj Górecki
Love, grief, parting, and the longing for freedom – these are the themes at the center of this two-part ballet evening by ballet director and principal choreographer Mario Schröder. He juxtaposes »Blühende Landschaft – Blossoming Landscape«, in which imaginary places of yearning are created, with new choreography to G.recki’s third symphony, »Symphony of Sorrowful Songs«.
