The Ballet of the Musikalische Komödie invites you to a mad Balkan wedding, complete with thundery brass music. But before true love can say “I do,” there are a few mix-ups to sort out. As it turns out, the groom is actually in love with someone else. With the help of clever tactical disguises and a priest who blindly trusts everyone and everything, the lovers eventually find their way to happily ever after. And after the ballet, Romanian brass band Fanfare Ciocarlia heats this up with their fast-paced Balkan beats.
