KlassikMatch Card - the biggest match since Romeo and Juliet

The KlassikMatch Card for 2025/26 is available at the box offices of the Gewandhaus and Opera House, or directly online.

The KlassikMatch Card is available in two designs, so you can choose which one you prefer when you purchase it.

The card is valid from the date of purchase for the current season. After the summer break, you will need a new card.

You can purchase the KlassikMatch Card if you are 29 years old or younger at the time of purchase – Children and young people included.

→ If you turn 30 during the current season, you can of course continue to use the card until the end of the season.

With the KlassikMatch Card, you can purchase tickets for events featuring the Gewandhaus Orchestra, Leipzig Opera, Leipzig Ballet, and Musikalische Komödie two months in advance at a special price of €15, while supplies last. The only exceptions are the first seating category, special events and guest performances.

→ Last-minute tickets are also available online and at the box office on site for €10 from 60 minutes to at least 30 minutes before the start of the performance.

The tickets purchased are only valid in conjunction with your KlassikMatch Card and therefore cannot be transferred. You can only purchase one ticket for your visit with the card.
